Artist Statement: "Rukmini is inspired by the South Indian temple dancers and her name means 'Adorned with Gold' - she is an incarnation of the Goddess Lakshmi.

My elephant is royal blue in colour and adorned with Temple Jewellery. Elephants are historically entwined with culture in my native South India and Rukmini is a stunning translation as seen through my eyes."

This work ships from Sewri, Mumbai, India.
