Peter Liashkov taught painting and drawing at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena for 21 years until his retirement in 2006. Maintaining a lively studio practice, the artist continues his ongoing exploration of the human form through drawing, painting, and collage. He has exhibited his work extensively since the early 1970s; it is held by the Brooklyn Museum, the New York Public Library, and numerous other public and private collections.
