Italian photographer, Massimo Vitali, documents landscapes populated by tourists. His experience in photojournalism lends his photographs the character of an official document rather than enticing advertisement. The wide lens and sharp clarity suggests surveillance or voyeurism, subtly destabilizing the photograph’s carefree subject matter.
