Description

“Does this carry the same weight as a genuine photograph, and is that important to you? It’s an interesting dilemma.” David Bowie on this digitally created image that GQ devised with him to celebrate his lifetime Achievement prize at the 2002 GQ Men Of The Year Awards that paid homage to a classic 1974 Terry O’Nell photograph for Bowie’s Diamond Dogs LP. “Never have we encountered a subject more photogenic and inspiring than David Bowie. Working with David is very easy, and every shot looks great. The wolf series was created in post production, with David blessing, from outtakes of the 2001 session we shot for his album Heathen.” Markus Klinko & Indrani
