Artist Statement: "While feathers symbolise lightness, the elephant is synonymous with the idea of weight. We burden our lives with our own weight - thoughts and emotions. Feathers symbolise the unburdening of that weight which enables us to fly and soar. This requires tremendous self-introspection and learning. It is our choice to feel burdened or light in our lives."
