Kyle Thurman (American, b. 1986) is a contemporary artist currently working in New York City. His practice, ranging in medium from sculpture to painting, is a comparative study in contrast. Notably, his work examines themes of reverence and irreverence, and being and absence, to critically engage the concept of industry and capital in our present lives. He received his BFA from Columbia University and his MFA from Bard College, New York.
