His Highness Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh Ji Bahadur of Jaipur is passionate about art, politics and polo. He was recently selected to represent the Indian Polo Team at the World Polo Championships. The assistant artist, Ramu Ramdev is the winner of The National Award for Excellency in Traditional Miniature Paintings. He is a master in Mughal, Kangda, Jaipur and Jodhpur school of Indian miniature paintings. Samantha Buckley is an Indian miniature painter based in the UK, who has contributed designs to The Highgrove Shop. In 2010 Samantha contributed two sculptures to Elephant Parade London and in 2011 she was invited by the renowned artist Dr Desmond Lazaro to undertake a one year apprenticeship in miniature painting in India. She completed her MA at The School in 2006, receiving a distinction for her studies in miniature painting.
