Artist Statement: "Geoffrey Owen Miller works mainly in vein of painting and sculpture. Using the motifs of multiplicity and emergence he explores how meaning exists in the traces of image, thing and texture. Specifically how the collection of various fundamental channels of perception such as color, texture, form and border connect to communication, an understanding of self, and our existential history. Since then, he has started to use Korean papers to create large-scale site-specific works that use the translucency of the paper to create temporary stain-glass-;ole installations."
