Deana Lawson’s photo-based work was recently on view in the Museum of Modern Art’s New Photography 2011 exhibit and Greater New York 2010 at MoMA PS1. She has also participated in exhibitions at the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art in Atlanta, Artists Space, and the Studio Museum in Harlem. Lawson’s photographs and writing are featured in BOMB Specific in BOMB 119/Spring 2012.
