This print is part of a project called "Second Hand Daylight." It is a print of a painting done on a print- in this case a museum calendar the artist received in the mail. The blue fields at the top are from pads of tape Shain once used to hang this piece. The image seen was once the back side of another painting.

He has had solo exhibitions at DAP53 in Santa Monica, Sandroni REy in Venice, CA, tick tok Galerie Calafia in the Czech Republic, and at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, CA. His work is included in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum in New York and Long Beach Museum of Art in California, among others.
