About Christian Rosa

View Profile »

Christian Rosa (Brazilian, b. 1982) is a contemporary artist currently living and working between Los Angeles and Vienna. Inspired by the Abstract Expressionist works of Wassily Kandinsky, Rosa’s practice explores the experience of art viewing, placing less influence on its intellectual engagement. Using colored pencil, spray paint and oil paint, Rosa creates abstract universes, in which he presents a visual code of color and form that stand autonomously from narrative.
