Brian Rosa is an artist based in Queens, New York, where he is also a professor of urban studies and geography. He has exhibited his work extensively in the United States, Great Britain, Mexico, and Hong Kong. He was an Artist in Residence in the Center for Land Interpretation in Wendover, Utah in 2010, and was a 2013 Artist Fellow with the Massachusetts Council on the Arts. He also co-curated the international exhibition Photocartographies in Los Angeles in 2009. His photographic work has been featured in a number of publications including the British Journal for Photography, Metropolis Magazine, Places, and Triple Canopy.
