Assaf Evron (b.1977, Israel) is an artist based in Chicago. Evron’s work investigates the nature of vision and the ways in which it reflects socially constructed structures where he applies photographic thinking in various two and three-dimensional media. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums internationally. He earned his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he currently teaches. And he also holds an MA from The Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas at Tel Aviv University. He has received numerous awards including The Graham Foundation (2017), The Gerard Levy Prize for a young photographer awarded by the Israel museum in Jerusalem (2012)
