Anthony Suber holds a BFA from the University of Houston and teaches Studio Art and Art History at the Kinkaid School. This solo exhibition presents the artist's honed sculpture skills, thoughtfully molded precious metal and wood forms, and unique oxidation techniques for his poetic paintings. Through the artist’s personal connection with spiritual and social relationships, the multi-media artworks transform the gallery and take audiences on a compelling visual journey through time and culture. Suber’s work has been placed in collections across the country and included in exhibitions at local institutions such as the Houston Museum of African American Culture, Project Row Houses, and Sculpture Month Houston.
