Alex Prager (American, b.1979) is a self-taught photographer and filmmaker who currently lives and works in Los Angeles. She is best known for her staged photographs which show several models arranged in awkward or strange tableaux, much like film-stills. She is collected by many prominent museums, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
