Online auction house Paddle8 is pleased to announce The Insider Sale, a selection of works by some of the most coveted artists working today. The sale features rising stars of the New York and international art scenes, including Aaron Young, Elad Lassry, Lucien Smith, Tauba Auerbach, Ugo Rondinone, Tauba Auerbach, Dan Colen, Aurel Schmidt, Leo Fitzpatrick, Adam McEwen, and Nate Lowman.

Bidding opens on Wednesday, September 25 at noon EST, and closes Thursday, October 10 at 6PM EST, at Highlights of The Insider Sale include:

Aaron Young, Greeting Card 1d, 2007 (estimate: $20,000–30,000)
One of Young’s first works form his Greeting Card series, in which motorcyclists drove over blackpainted pieces of plywood, creating burnouts that reveal bright layers of color beneath. Created at the Park Avenue Armory under the auspices of the Art Production Fund in 2007.

Ugo Rondinone, Gone, 2010 (estimate: $12,000–18,000)
A sculpture of a dark wood and Perspex window, through which Rondinone explores the emotional and psychic profundity found in the banal materials and elements of everyday life.

Elad Lassry, Collie, Poodle, 2011 (estimate: $8,000–12,000)
A quintessential example of Lassry’s vibrant and disarming still-life compositions, displayed in a frame that derives its sky-blue color from the dominant hue in the photograph.

Lucien Smith, Cats and Dogs, 2012 (estimate: $2,000–3,000)
An archival print on canvas, made by spraying a fire extinguisher filled with paint.

Adam McEwen, Untitled Text Message (Lily), 2008 (estimate: $12,000–18,000)
A graphite on graph paper drawing in a graphite frame, reproducing and enlarging a text message from a friend as it appeared on McEwen’s classic Nokia phone.

The sale will also feature works by Cheyney Thompson, Anthony Titus, Kasper Sonne, Thomas Ruff, Thomas Saraceno, Davis Rhodes, Slater Bradley, Markus Amm, and Nikolas Gambaroff.
