What is your line of work?

Former Navy SEAL. Currently I’m an MBA student at Columbia for investment management. 

If you could own any work of art, which one would you choose?

Pollock's Number 31 – it's seamless. Chaos defined. There's a peace within that.

What is your earliest memory of art?

[My earliest memory of art] was in a church, when I realized how powerful the image of the crucifix of Christ was.

Which museum or foundation would you like to be locked in one night?

The Louvre. I have yet to go, but it seems a destination to experience timeless statues, paintings, history. 

How do images have an impact on global politics?

They have a profound impact on politics. Some of the most famous pictures – including the picture of Tiananmen Square where a man stood in front of a row of tanks, and the photo of a Viet Cong member being executed in the streets – have had world-changing effects.
