The 8: Adam Lindemann

What is your line of work?

Investor/collector/columnist

If you could own any work of art, which one would you choose?

Guernica or perhaps Titian's Venus of Urbino. On second thought I'll stick
with the Venus, I'll hang it in the bedroom

What is your earliest memory of art?

None, I was a poetry guy

Which museum/foundation would you like to be locked in one night?

For looking or for a heist? I say the Met, it's close to home and has what I
 need.

Hanna Liden

Lump Sum, 2002

15.000 x 68.000 in (38.1 x 172.72 cm)

"Many good choices here, but I'll take the strange Hanna Liden totem of
plastic bags filled with concrete. I just saw the Brancusi-Serra show at
the Beyeler and it reminds me of a punk version of a Brancusi in a rude way.
I like sculpture and this series feels like it captures this moment, I
think Hanna is onto something here."
