Exhibiting as part of Paddle8’s collaboration with The Armory Show 2012, a group of galleries from London have come with beautiful selections of artwork. Browse & DarbyBISCHOFF/WEISSMax Wigram, and the venerable Lisson Gallery all are known for exceptional programs at the forefront of the British gallery scene. The galleries ‘round Mayfair range from Old Masters to Contemporary, and everything in-between. Paddle8 is fortunate to have some of London’s finest exhibiting at the Armory this year!

 

As one of the world’s leading contemporary art galleries, Lisson Gallery has a roster that includes the likes of Marina Abramovic, Tony Cragg, Jason Martin, and Sol Lewitt, among others. For this years’ Armory Show, Lisson will bring a selection of works by artists from their varied stable.

 

Browse & Darby, specializing in late 19th and early 20th European art with a focus on native British artists, has brought a beautiful sculpture by Barbara Hepworth as well as works on paper by Lucian Freud and Edgar Degas.

 

BISCHOFF/WEISS has brought works by Nathaniel Rackowe, Rana Begum, and Micahel Reisch. These cutting-edge multi-media artists have fashioned bodies of work that re-formulate abstraction and channel the power of the elements.

 

Max Wigram Gallery has brought an assortment of works by Marine Hugonnier, Ximena Garrido-Lecca, James White, and Luiz Zerbini.

 

Beyond, Ingleby Gallery, located in Edinburgh comes with a selection of established contemporary artists including Peter Liversidge, Iran Do Espirito Santo, and Callum Innes while Workplace Gallery has a focus booth showcasing Laura Lancaster.

 

Sims Reed, specializing in fine & rare illustrated books and prints, presents editions by Henri Matisse, Bridget Riley, and Ed Ruscha, among others.
